53-Piece Universal Rethreader Set Here is a set of External Chasers (19) and Internal Chasers (32) that are designed to restore the threads to Standard Coarse, SAE Fine, and Metric sizes. The Set is color-coded; Plated are Standard Coarse, Black are SAE Fine, and Gold are Metric. The Set also contains Two Thread Files, one Coarse and Fine Pitch and the Other Metric Pitch. The thread files allow you to repair any external thread (like spindles, axles, pipe threads, etc..) with a pitch between .75mm - 3mm or 11 TPI 24 TPI. In many cases they will eliminate the need to buy a large die and that can save a lot of money. What a time saver this set is for the technician who has a damaged thread. Now, the thread can be quickly repaired and put back into service. Cuts down the lost time of digging through the old "nuts and bolts" box, looking for a replacement. Packaged in a durable plastic case with two latching fasteners. The Case has a cavity for each piece for easy tool control. The Case will lie flat in your toolbox.
